Online CPD Certificates Available . . .

Dear Members, 

As part of continuing support and knowledge sharing within  the Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors, we are proud to announce the launch of on line CPD certificates to attendees of Our Qs Class. By issuing CPD certificate we are completing the cycle of our CPD sessions. Now we are in a comprehensive process towards enhancing knowledge of our quantity surveyors. 

By third week of this month we will be completing and updating the certificates for all classes. 

First batch of certificates are now available here to view and download.
( After opening the Certificate you can download by File>Download in the menu opened in online)
You can search for your certificate.

 If you really need you can take a print ! 

This approach is just to make sure we are in line with green concepts as a global social responsibility.

Friday 31st APC Discussion Summery

We have successfully completed another Question and Answer session on 31st January 2014.

Our valuable mentor Mr.Nishantha Fernando Bsc Hons (QS) MRICS, MAIQS, IQSSL discussed 20 questions under the Core Competency Contract Practice quite in depth.

In the second session, prominent mentor of our team Mr.S.P.A. Keerthirathne BSc(QS)Hons(UOMSL), MBA(USJ),AIQSSL, MRICS delivered a extensive session on Delays in Construction Projects.

Article 273

Force Majeure in UAE Civil Code

In contracts binding on both parties, if force majeure supervenes which makes the performance of the contract impossible, the corresponding obligation shall cease, and the contract shall be automatically cancelled.

A force majeure event excuses the effected party from continuing to perform its obligation
